Our Premier & Select Programs

Sound Football Club is the sole premier soccer club chartered by Washington Youth Soccer to represent the South Snohomish County and Northshore Youth Soccer associations at the highest level of club play in Washington, the RCL (Regional Club League). This is the most advanced program within NYSA. Sound FC provides high-level professional coaching for players U9 to U19.

Northshore Select Club provides soccer programs to players U10 to U19 who are seeking a more competitive environment than Recreational soccer with less of a time commitment and lower cost than Premier soccer. NSC operates with licensed volunteer coaches and teams participate in the NPSL (North Puget Sound League).

The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent nonprofit committed to building a sport community where participants can work and learn together free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse and misconduct.

SafeSport wants to make reporting of abuse as simple as possible; click here for guidelines to help you choose the right option(s). If in doubt, you can always contact SafeSport with questions. The Center is authorized to respond to any report of a SafeSport Code violation involving sexual misconduct for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. We can also manage other types of code violations on a case-by-case basis.

Return to Play Plan

Northshore Youth Soccer Association is aware of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our community and the severity of this impact is something we will all have to deal with for quite some time. Our hearts break for those who have been the most significantly impacted. As we can all probably agree on, the past few months have been perhaps the hardest on our children. Their lives, their routines and their important social circles were all dealt a devastating blow and it is in everyone’s best interest to get them back on a path towards normalcy as soon as it is safe to do so. We feel strongly that returning to play organized youth sports will serve to enhance both the mental and physical well-being of all our young athletes and, as a result, will provide a positive outlet for all the families in our community. The health and safety of our members is of the utmost importance; we take this step with the confidence that the guidelines we have in place will protect players and staff alike.

During each of the four phases for re-opening the state, NYSA will follow strict protocols to keep everyone safe and on the field.  For phase one we remained closed for all in person trainings.  Now that we have hit Phase 1.5 (King County) and 2 (Snohomish County) we have the ability to begin a safe transition to getting our players back on the field.  During this Phase, Sound FC (our premier program) will model our strategic plan to safely get players to the fields, safely separate players, and train in a manner that allows for skill development in small groups while maintaining modified social distancing.  To make this work everyone (coaches, players, and parents/guardians) has a role to play.  Please review the Return to Play documents to familiarize yourself about the various roles we all play to ensure a safe and extended return to play.
