Sound FC Premier
Sound Football Club is NYSA’s Premier soccer option for players (U8-U19). Sound FC provides all players with Nationally Licensed professional coaches, who specialize in teaching the game’s individual techniques and team tactics throughout an 11-to-12 month calendar. The Sound FC premier soccer experience includes 3+ training sessions per week, access to the highest-level tournaments and showcases in the country, and placement in the Regional Club League, the elite level league provided by Washington Youth Soccer.
SFC competes in the Regional Club League (RCL). In addition to the technical and tactical aspects of the Beautiful Game, SFC prioritizes the physical and social development of our players and will be providing guidance in areas such as nutrition, academic success strategies/college preparation, goal setting and achievement, injury prevention, and peer leadership. Sound FC is proud to welcome scholarship applications and is dedicated to eliminating the financial barrier, to those families in need of assistance. Scholarships are awarded on a case-by-case basis, and anyone can apply. Tryouts are held annually in April and May and consist of a technical warm-up and small sided games in a low-pressure, fun environment. Players are evaluated by our professional coaching staff to ensure placement in the appropriate environment that maximizes their individual development path. MLS NEXT is Major League Soccer’s elite youth development platform for boys U13–U19. It includes the highest-level clubs in North America—MLS academies and top non-MLS clubs. The league is built to provide the best possible environment for player development through top-level competition, professional standards, and a direct pathway to MLS, college soccer, and U.S. Youth National Teams. Top Girls teams (U13+) will compete in the Girls Academy Aspire platform beginning in the 2026–2027 season. The Girls Academy Aspire platform is part of the Girls Academy’s national player development pathway for elite girls U13–U19. It brings together top clubs from across the country and is designed to provide stronger competition, higher development standards, and increased college recruiting exposure. Aspire offers a consistent, challenging environment and connects players directly to the broader Girls Academy ecosystem, supporting their growth toward college soccer and future playing opportunities.
